Classes consist of a 60 minute slow flowing, all levels yoga class on a yoga specific Stand-Up Paddle board (SUP) board. By adding this new challenge of the unstable, moving environment of the water to a yoga practice, it is necessary to slow down, focus intently, and move carefully in and out of each posture. The instructor will provide instruction and assistance for safe entry and exit of the board in the lake or pool.

What to Wear

The goal is to stay dry and out of the water, but you should prepare to get wet just in case.  Participants should wear fitted, light weight, quick drying yoga clothing, active wear or a bathing suit, that allows for easy movement. Avoid cotton, fleece, or anything excessively baggy.  No shoes are worn on the paddle board, but please wear flip flops or shoes that can get wet to the beach or pool deck for comfort and safety.
